Online Skill Check

Before moving on to the online Skillcheck, please read the following important information :

1 - The AAT online Skillcheck consists of 14 questions and should take you around 30 minutes to complete. It tests the knowledge and understanding you would need to demonstrate when completing the Foundation units ‘Recording Income and Receipts’, ‘Making and Recording Payments’, and ‘Preparing Ledger Balances and an Initial Trial Balance’. It is suggested that you have a calculator handy.

2 – You will be asked to register before being able to take the Skill Check. This registration is only for the Skillcheck. It does not register you with the AAT and it does not lead to an award.

3 – On the Skillcheck you are asked to select the answer which you feel is correct. In some questions there are Credit (CR) and Debit (DR) columns. In order for your answer to be correctly registered, you will need to make entries in both columns on the same row. One will be a figure / value and the other will be the comment No Entry. For example if you feel that the answer is CR - 600, then you should click on that and also click on DR - No Entry on the same row.

After completing the Skillcheck you will be prompted to print your answers. Forward your Scores, Review Results ---here---.

Please continue on to the on-screen Skillcheck ---here--- [New Window]
